After watching one of my sons play last night, we checked out the Replay feature. Haven't laughed that hard in a while. Some of the kills, followed by flips and ragdoll physics splits were just hilarious!! The feature really needs a rewind button, but it's still a lot of fun just to replay the batt...

Oh my lord, my skill at first person shooters is declining at a rapid pace. I jumped online last night in the "Beginner" rooms and finished 3rd or 4th each and every time... Very, very nice UI for the Matchmaking btw, they really did a great job. It saw that all of my DSP friends were playing togeth...

It is very difficult to check in the game. Which is why it's a great game because rarely do you see guys just get destroyed in a game (like what happens 10 times per period in 2k8). The easiest check seems to be the hip check when the offensive guy is to your left or right (while you're skating bac...

Are you guys having success with checking? I'll admit right now that I am more of an arcade style player when it comes to hockey, and NHL 08 has been an adjustment. I've never tried working the puck around the offensive zone like I've been doing with this game. It's rewarding when you finally find t...

Even with the flaws, I'm finding 08 to be fun on the 360. For the first time ever, I'm even having a good time playing the game on-line. I'm only 1-2 so far, but each game (against randoms) has been fun. No cheesy play and each game has been close. Last night my Chargers got beat by the Patriots (14...

Pretty much. Watch any of the many videos from NCAA08 on this and other forums and watch the defenders line up and all take the exact same angle. It's the same in Madden08. Not sure how a development team would address this though... Do you program it so a certain percentage of players take differen...

Eastern Conference: I'll be available to play most of today (Sunday) and Monday night. Please PM me if you're available...I'll be going on vacation after that, and want to get in as many games as possible before then. I should be on line sometime in the mid-afternoon PDT for some Eastern Conference...

Re: Z's Lose In Tourney Opener, 17-14
Great game, Leadfoot. That was pretty fun. That drive where i was sacked twice in a row turned out to be the difference, I think, since I noticed in the stats you were 5-7 on 3rd down, with one missed FG and the one you made. I guess splitting my start players evenly between offense and defense isn...

Yep - great game Teal. My second really fun game in a row. Unfortunately, also my second loss. On to the highlights... Temple took the lead in the second quarter as DiMichele threads a pass between 3 defenders... <embed src='http://admin.brightcove.com/destination/player/player.swf' bgcolor='#FFFFFF...

Kent St: 23 Temple: 21 ... I can't believe how many of these league games are fantastic contests. That was epic, one of the most fun football games I've ever played, man. Great, great game. Just an awesome game all around, and my first on-line with NCAA08. Terry was nice in his writeup mentioning T...
